CAZEO has partnered with the CT Resource Conservation and Development Area to host an Agriculture-focused seminar for our February meeting. Based upon the responses provided by members back in December, this meeting will cover a broad range of topics and issues including:

• Right to Farm
• Economic Impacts of farming statewide
• Common friction points between zoning and agriculture
• Pertinent legislation
• Recent agriculture trends including urban farming, regenerative farming, and the impact of climate change
• Understanding agriculture in your community, best practices, and available resources

Speakers will include representatives from CT RC&D, the CT Department of Agriculture, the CT Farm Bureau, and a consulting conservation scientist.
